The Full Monty

What I really like was how the characters were all pulled together. It starts out with the protagonist and his friend. Then, in a very worthy scene where his friend saves the security guard from suicide, and they talk about the best ways to commit it. (He says this memorial line. "I just saved your life, of course we're lads!") The old guy is someone they pick on at the job hunt place. The black guy and the redhead was recruited. And the weird scene where the redhead and the security guy fall in love.

Throughout the whole story, there were little battles about what they were really doing, and if it would be successful. The friend constantly thinking he's too fat to do it and quitting half-way. The protagonist and his fight with his wife and battles with his son. The old man and his lying to his wife.

The ending had a push when they found out a lot of people were interested in their performance. They all found a little bit more - and then they danced as a conclusion. The ending could have used some more spunk.
